Adsorption and Photocatalytic Degradation Properties of Bimetallic Ag/MgO/Biochar Nanocomposites

The Ag/MgO/biochar nanostructures were fabricated using a solvent-free ball milling process as an effective adsorbent. Development of functional materials capable completely removing organic pollutants from water and their adequate adsorption present challenges. addition MgO nanoparticles diffused equally on biochar surfaces in the matrix, according to various characterization data. In decomposing compressing MgO, powdered metal enhanced mesopores macropores nanocomposites. XPS analysis indicates potential synthesis modified Adequate amounts added improved ability nanocomposites remove methylene blue (M.B.) through photosynthesis adsorption. Photocatalytic was carried out for proposed novel composites tetracycline (T.C.) subjected different conditions. photodegradation efficiency found 80.26% TC concentration, 50 ppm, H2O2 100 mM pH: 5-6 (0.01 g) at 25° temperature. Treatment wastewaters by oxide/biochar with strong photocatalytic degradation capabilities is made possible this research.
